Peterson Park’s The Evergreen Unit supports residents who live with the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We understand the nature of this complex condition and work to minimize its effects on the medical, physical and behavioral health of our residents. Our support and education on the disease process is also extended to family members. Our goal is to increase the level of function, interaction and engagement in a secure unit. In our Evergreen Unit we provide a calm, safe and anxiety-reducing environment that supports improvement for our residents. The Evergreen Unit also provides individual and group activities, exercise and stimulating games for our community.

Peterson Park offers short-term respite stays for those who may require help after a hospital visit, during an illness or when family members need a break. Whether it’s a few days or a few weeks, our respite care gives family members the peace of mind knowing their loved one is in a safe and caring environment.
